Questions people ask before they call
How much does a heat pump cost after the grant?
It depends on the house — the size of heat pump, whether you need a new cylinder, and how many radiators need upsizing. You get a fixed written price after the survey, with the grant already taken off.
Will a heat pump keep an old stone house warm?
Yes, if it's designed properly. We do a room-by-room heat-loss calculation, size the radiators to run at lower temperatures, and have been doing exactly this in Mid Wales homes since 2010.
Do I have to do the grant paperwork?
No. As an MCS certified installer we apply for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme voucher for you and take the grant off your invoice.
