This roof mounted solar PV array is located near Shrewsbury. It consists of 18 panels to provide a peak output of 3.8kWp. The installation took 1 day and is providing a much better return than estimated.
This was a tricky installation due to the location of the 3 Velux roof lights. A standard size panel would not fit so we used a slightly smaller one. This enabled us to design a symmetrical installation as close to the 4kWp limit as possible. Notice that we used a dark framed panel on a dark roof. This helps to lower the visual impact of a solar PV installation
